⚽Quests (Real World Event Market)
Quests is a real-time event-based prediction market for crypto, sports, politics, business, and science-related events. It allows users to wager on the outcome of real-time events such as US elections, Cricket World Cups, Ethereum’s Surge, Verge, Purge, and Splurge or Doge’s price reaching $1 by year end. It is designed such that users bet against each other and receive payouts based on wagers placed on opposing outcomes.
Resolving Quests
If exploring and predicting on Quests is one aspect of the game; resolving every event is another. This implies that once the event has occurred and the outcomes are known, you may resolve the Quest by bonding $MATIC on the event’s correct outcome.
Example: Assume you took part in a two-day event that ended in your favor. You can claim your winnings by placing a $MATIC bond (refundable) on the correct outcome on Reality.eth. Once validated, your bonded $MATIC will be refunded, and your winnings will be credited to your account.
However, if you bond $MATIC on the wrong outcome, you will lose your bond amount and the winner will keep your $MATIC.
Note: It is optional for a user to bond/resolve any Quest. Whether or not users attempt to resolve an event, Nexter will always settle events and credit the winners’ rewards.
Fees
A 2.5% platform fee is charged on winnings.
